The University of Santo Tomas ranked fourth top performing school in the August 2018 Mechanical Engineering licensure exam.
For this year, UST registered a passing rate of 87.18 percent with 102 passers out of 117 examinees, a 1.06 percent drop from last year’s passing rate of 88.24 percent with 105 passers out of 119 examinees.
The Malayan Colleges of Laguna grabbed the top spot garnering 94.74 percent with 54 out of 57 examinees making the cut, while, Technological University of the Philippines-Manila and Southern Luzon State University-Lucban ranked second and third, marking 88.08 and 87.41 percent, respectively.
