The UST Electrical Engineering (EE) Department hailed as top performing school marking a 100-percent passing rate with 73 out of 73 board exam takers. A 1.33-percent spike from last year’s rate of 98.68-percent with 77 out of 78 examinees making it to the cut.
Nino Boy Armario Dacer of Bicol University-Legazpi topped the board examination with the score of 93.05%
The University of Saint Louis-Tugegarao shared the top spot with 52 out of 52 passers, followed by University of Batangas and Polytechnic University of the Philippines-Sto. Tomas ranking second and third with 98.31-percent and 96.15-percent, respectively.
The national passing rate is 66.74% with 3,135 out of 4,697 examinees, a higher notch from last year's 62.94%, 2,807 out of 4,460 last takers.
