UST posted 79.26-percent in October 2018 ECE boards

107 out of 137 Thomasians made it to the cut in the October 2018 Electronics Engineering licensure exam recording a passing rate of 79.26-percent. A 2.26-percent drop from last year’s 81.51-percent.


Daniel Dilag Cabrales from Technological University of the Philippines-Manila took the top spot with 92-percent. Followed by Justine Arciga of Holy Angel University and Youki Matsumoto of University of the East Manila, with 90.30 and 90.20-percent, respectively.


The University of the Philippines-Diliman triumphed with a 98-percent passing rate making the state university the sole top performing school for the ECE board exams.

The University of Santo Tomas recorded a 97.70-percent in the Electronics Technician (ECT) Board Exam, placing the university second in the top performing school.


85 out of 87 Thomasians passed the exam, a 2.3-percent drop from last year’s record of 100-percent wherein 78 examinees succeeded.


The Polytechnic University of the Philippines- Sta. Mesa conquered the top spot with 98.30-percent followed by UST and TUP-Visayas, registering 97.70 and 97.18-percent, respectively. Allen Atienza
